Saturday Road and Sunday Destination Gravel
This weekend we have an action packed 2 days of biking in store for ya! Saturday we have a short and long route. The short route of 37 miles is North out to Coburg turning back South just shy of Harrisburg. The Long route will venture into Harrisburg before heading back South for 47 miles. Both rides are under 500 feet of total ascent, but don’t fear if you want to climb! Sunday’s Destination gravel ride will not disappoint!
Sunday we will venture out to Blue River for some much over due gravel exploration to Wolf Rock. You can plan on 33 miles with about 4000 feet of ascent.
-Time 9:30 AM at Lookout Campground, Blue River Reservoir. Plan on an hour drive from Eugene for most people.
-PLEASE NOTE: it is BLUE RIVER RESERVOIR NOT THE TOWN of Blue River. It will be the 3rd Blue River exit, and will say BLUE RIVER RESERVOIR and Outlook campground and Blue River Campground. I do not know how to state this any clearer, but people do not read this and end up elsewhere.
-The weather is forecasting to be much cooler. Bring appropriate clothes for high altitude, plenty of water and food.
See you 9:30 AM Saturday @ Tacovore and
Sunday 9:30 AM @ Blue River RESERVOIR, Outlook Campground.
Enjoy the ride!
