Lets have a happy 4th of July and Ride!
Two great routes are in store for us this week. The short route will be Mckenzie Long with a Clear water route return along the very scenic bike path through Springfield. It will be a 41 mile route with about 1000 feet of ascent. The long route will add on the Beautiful scenic climb of Parson’s Creek for an additional 10 miles. You can plan on a 51 mile day and 1600 feet of ascent on this route.
This year has been a very stressful time for all of us. It can cause us to lose sight of why and how we are all here. If you have some RED , WHITE AND BLUE, lets represent UNITY! Even if it is just a pair of socks, put them on and lets ride!
GROUP RIDING RULES AND GUIDELINES:
If you are experiencing the following symptoms, Please avoid group rides with the club:
-Runny nose(Know your nose!)

We do realize that runny noses often times can be allergy or exercise induced, so please be courteous to your fellow cyclists when blowing your nose. The following rules for blowing your nose in a group ride:
-Move to the back or the group to blow your nose. Then work your way back in to pace line respectfully.
***-SPEED GROUPS WILL BE 5-10 PEOPLE MAXIMUM, depending on total number of people participating.***
-Groups are expected to self manage and watch out and help fellow riders until we can get our Ride Leader Teams back on schedule.
